About Yael Tal |

My name is Yael, born is Israel.
I started dancing to western techniques from a very young age.
My passion for dance got me to tour the world and find the dance
of different cultures (Thai traditional dance,
Nepali folk dance
and more), but the most fascinating dance for me is the
classical Indian dance.
I began my first Kuchipudi class in January 2004
under the guidance of my
Guru Vyjayanthi Kashi.
Through her teachings of Indian dance she exposed me to rhythms,
stories of a great rich culture, spirituality and devotion.
I was fotrunate to be granted with an ICCR
scholarship (Indian Council of cultural Relation) to
deepen my studies.
I
have
performed on many stages and festivals throughout India with the
Shambhavi Dance Ensemble.
Today in Israel, I Introduce this special style to the people of my
birth country by Performing and teaching this special style. |
